Clookey, 85, formerly of Talcott St. Massena will be held on Saturday at 4:00 pm at the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena. Friends and family may be received on Saturday from 2:00 pm until the time of the funeral at the Phillips Memorial Home, 64 Andrews St. Massena. Internment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in the Spring. Cecile passed away on January 14, 2010 at the St. Regis Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Cecile is survived by her children, Richard F. and wife Helen, Sharon and husband Alan McGrath, Carol and husband Richard Collins all of Massena. Six grandchildren, Robert Clookey, Tina (Tyler) Rogers, Todd (Heather) Collins, Trish (Ryan) Hayes, Dorie (Robert) Owen, Kim (Jared) Jabaut, 11 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Three sisters, Lorraine and DonaldTyo, Louise Morin, Gloria Robillard all of Massena. Sister in-laws, Gloria (Harold) Cobane of SC, Mertas Perras, of Massena, Shirley Clookey of of NJ, Evelyn Clookey of Massena, Armedia Clookey of Chase Mills, NY, Barbara Clookey of Massena. She was predeceased by brothers, Leon, Art and Adolphe Perras, and an infant daughter Lynn Marie in 1948. Born September 4, 1924 in Hemmingford, Quebec, the daughter of Arthur and Louise (Trombley) Perras. She married Herman L. Clookey on January 7, 1943 at the Chruch of the Sacred Heart. Mr. Clookey predeceased her on March 25, 2005. At the family's request memorial contributions may be made to the Massena Rescue Squad or St. Regis Nursing Home Activites Fund.
